I am very sorry to hear of John’s passing. I didn’t know him well, but remember well when he married my older first cousin, Cynthia. I can remember when they married and how radiantly happy John made her! In the 1990s, Cynthia came and stayed at my home in Austin when she came to visit her dad in the hospital with heart surgery. We had a “slumber party” and she told me her whole life story. We had a wonderful time and she talked about John and the kids. She said she had such a happy life. My sympathies to the entire family.
