Johnny has been my friend for 66 years and that was way too short a time. When our family moved to his neighborhood in Atlanta -- little did I know that God had planted us together for life… and Eternity! I realize that Johnny has the advantage over me in that he has now seen You, Lord. Lord, we know that a major witness for You is now missing from the earth and we must stand in the gap and witness even more! We want to serve You, Lord, like Johnny did. Please keep us focused on You in all circumstances. Help us to bring You Glory as You use us. Lord, we ask for special help from all that interact with Anita during this time. Lord, as she talks with You, please help her to look to You when her heart longs for Johnny. The family is her daily comfort and Your presence is her strength. As a Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend we have seen Johnny’s service to You in teaching Your word in Your church, as living Your word in the home and in the workplace. Help us now, Lord, to lift up Your name by our daily example of Your word for every circumstance. Because of Christ, Bill Dorsey
