John "Johnny" Ferral Faulk

John “Johnny” Ferral Faulk, 92, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020. Johnny was born March 31, 1928 in Crowley, Louisiana to the late Arthur and Beulah Faulk. Johnny joined the United States Navy at the young age of 17. He was a veteran of WWII on the USS Dixie. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, traveling and gardening. Johnny had a green thumb for growing vegetables and roses. He retired from Gulf Oil Refinery after 36 years of service. Johnny cherished his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Faulk and Beulah Pearl Petry Faulk; sister, Catherine Faulk and granddaughter, Lauren Brack.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 39 years, Carole Helen Faulk; children, Mike Faulk and his wife, Linda; Debbie Dugas and her husband, Ronald; Randy Faulk and his wife, Paula; Cindy LeBlanc and her husband, Tommy; daughter, Christel Chamberlain; daughter, Cammie Pool and her husband, John; sister, Betty Lou McDaniel; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

Due to Coronavirus-19 the family will have a private graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home.
