I found out late about John and I would have been there for him & all of you. Even tho' I have not seen John for many years, I have always loved him. We were classmates all of our life's and dear friends. I have literally been crying about his passing since I found out and only wish that we could have reconnected. Life is so short on planet earth, but as Christians, we all know he is in Heaven and that we will see him again one day. I am so glad he had his loving wife, Sharon beside him. I don't know you, Sharon but have heard many great things about you 2 love birds. He is preparing a mansion for you and as much as he hated to go, he would not want to leave Heaven. It is glorious and I will get that Heaven book to you soon. To his children & family may you know that He is in the arms of God now, singing & praising and no more pain or tears or sorrow....God Bless You All! Jeremiah 29:11-15

I just found this out 30 minutes ago on Facebook and am beside myself now that this happened to my friend & classmate. I wish that I could have gotten to reconnect with him before this happened. I wish I had been there for him through his illness to make him smile & laugh & have fun with him, as he did for me all those years growing up in school together. I extend my sympathy to all of your family John and know that you will be truly missed by them all, as your memory will live on in the hearts of so many who knew you. Your friend, Sharon Jeremiah 29:11-15 helped me tremendously when I lost my husband & still does each day.

I am also a childhood friend of John's. We became friends in middle school when we were both in band together, and hung out with the same group of kids. John was always a sweet young man. Quick with a smile or a joke. I'm so sad to hear of his passing - much too young. Praying the God of all comfort will surround you with His love and strengthen you in the days ahead.

Dear John's Family; John was a dear friend while in High School. We parted ways as many do upon graduation; however, I have always remembered him and am deeply saddened by this news. May the Lord give you His peace during this most grievous time. In Jesus' Name, Rev. Ken Duke
