John Rae Miller

1933 ∼ 2021

John Rae Miller, 88, of Warren, Texas passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Lenrose Place in Beaumont, Texas.

He was born in Dallas, Texas on February 14, 1933 to Gordon R. Miller and Henrietta Beckham Miller.

John proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He worked for Texaco Chemical as a Buyer in the Purchasing Department.

He lived in Warren, Texas for 10 years and was a member of VFW Post 1514.

He was a proud member of Full Gospel/Thriving house church for many years and had a strong faith in God. In life, he was enthusiastic about technology and loved traveling with his family.

A visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jason Blanchard officiating. The burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Miller, his sister, Betty Fitzgerald, his brother, Gordon Miller and great grandson, Zayne Paszkiewicz.

He is survived by his son, Paul Miller and wife Vicki of Warren, Texas, grandchildren, Nikki Paszkiewicz and husband Paul, Joni Doyle and husband Kevin, Matthew Miller and wife Deanna, Johnathon Miller and wife Julie, great grandchildren, Hadyn, Harlee, Daxtyn, Mason, Presleigh, Burkleigh, Jace, Jaysa, Braylin, Dean, and one on the way. He will be missed by these descendants, and a host of extended family.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to John's family & Friends. At VFW POST 1514 we have made the solemn playing of TAPS and Draped our Charter with the black memorial cloth. John, we will see you again on the other side!!
