John Ellery Moore, 54, of Houston, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Johnny was born August 1, 1962 in Guanaja, Bay Islands, Honduras to Ellery Duckon Moore and Feddie Ebanks Moore. Johnny was a resident of Houston for 26 years and retired lot supervisor from Cox Enterprises, Inc. and Big H Auto Auction. He was a member of Houston First Church of God and proudly served in the U.S Air Force. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Ellery D. Moore; and daughter, Christina Acuff. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia J. Moore of Houston; mother, Feddie Moore of Groves; son, Kevin Stanley of Houston; and three granddaughters. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Port Arthur Church of God, 3800 Jimmy Johnson Blvd., Port Arthur, TX 77642 followed by the funeral service at 4:00 p.m., with Pastor Tim Gould officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
