John and I shared an office at Unocal in 1968 and worked together for his entire time there. He was a capable leader respected by both the workers and the management at the plant. John knew that I collected watches and years after we went our different ways he saw a watch he knew that I would want and got it for me; it is one of my prized possessions. A great guy to work with and a really thoughtful person. I am sorry for your loss. He will be missed. Tom

Holly, It was such a shock to read about your dear father's death in the paper. John was a dear and kind man who made everyone feel welcome in the store, and his genuine thoughtfulness will be missed by all who knew him. Please know you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. May you find some comfort knowing your mom and dad are together now.

To Holly and family I am remembering that my Mother called John "her son" because she had no sons and he was so close to us as family. We Peacock sisters had an especially close relationship with John as children and missed seeing him when the geography kept us apart. Even though we don't see you, Chad, and Laurel often, please know we love you too. May God's peace and comfort be with you as you need it in the days ahead.
