John F. Picard, 57, of Lumberton, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Christus-St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was born on August 5, 1957 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Lodias Picard and Virgie Neely. John was a lifelong resident of the Port Arthur/Groves area and also lived 15 years in the Dallas area.
John is survived by his daughters, Christina, Jennifer, Maria, and Monica; sons, George and Raymond; brothers, Ted, Paul, Jimmy, and Darrin; sister, Lona; grandsons, Terry Bryant and Antoine Wilson; and extended family, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Ella Hunt, Patricia Wendt, and Peggy Picard.
A Memorial Service will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. with, Deacon Johnny Huckaby officiating.
