John H. Warden

John H. Warden, 90, of Groves passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas. He was born on February 13, 1925 in El Paso, Texas to John H. Warden, Sr. and Gladys Hubbard Warden. John was a proud 1948 graduate of The University of Texas and was employed as a chemical engineer with Texaco retiring after over thirty years of service. He served his country with the United States Army during World War II in the Philippines and Japan. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2015 at The Methodist Temple in Port Arthur with Reverend Jeff Hastings officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow at the church. John is preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Wingo Warden. He is survived by his daughter, Alice Warden of Groves, TX sister, Ann Johnson of Eagle Harbor, MI, brother, Richard Warden of Green Valley, AZ and several nieces and nephews.
