Johnnie Ann Hebert

Johnnie Ann Hebert

Johnnie Ann Morua Hebert, 71, of Bridge City passed peacefully surrounded by her family on

November 13, 2022.

She retired from Five Point Credit Union in 2013. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and enjoyed many years of volunteering in the A.C.T.S. community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie (Valdez) Morua; her siblings, John Angelo Morua, Jr., Yolanda Morua, Mark Morua and her godson, Mark Adrian Morua.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Clyde Hebert, her children Chad and Kathryn Hebert of Mansfield and Doug and Amber (Hebert) Speers, of The Woodlands. She was a proud Grammy to her grandchildren Grant and Brittan (McDonald) Lovelady, Austin and Mandi Hebert, Connor McDonald, Kannon Hebert, Victoria Hebert and a great-grandson debuting in March 2023, Banks Victor Lovelady.

She is also survived by her siblings, Laurie and Mike Rajha, Sister Marion Ange Morua, Norman and Marilyn Morua and many nieces and nephews.

Those who knew her spunky spirit can certainly attest that she was always the life of the party and found profound joy in caring for those she loved. She especially loved the holidays, and we know she’s with Jesus now showing Him exactly how to string Christmas lights on heaven’s gates! Shine bright, Grammy! We love you!

Her memorial mass will be Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves.

I loved Johnnie so much, she was always checking on me and would say I’m going to say a rosary for you! We had so much fun, she could always make me laugh! There are so many happy memories with this sweet lady! I will miss my sweet Johnnie and our phone calls. Prayers for all of you! Brittain she would send me pictures of you from when you were a Texan cheerleader, engagement pictures, wedding pictures and then the most recent one of your sweet baby on the way. Amber she would keep me up with all your runs! Her love was huge and I’m so honored she was my sweet friend. There are just not enough words for this special lady! I know she’s one of Gods special angels and I can see her blinging up their wings up there!

I met Mrs. Johnnie working at the credit union, and she was always smiling and definitely the life of the party! The one thing over so many things is she always had the best style and jewelry! What truly made it all stand out was the lady who was wearing it! Her smile and personality were truly brighter and shinier then anything she had on! She was definitely a beautiful person, and will be missed!

I worked with Johnnie at 5 Point and every Friday a bunch of the “older” ladies would go eat lunch. It was the highlight of our week! We would laugh and talk about retirement, family and life… She was so kind to everyone and had a wit about her! You will be missed Johnnie! Spending so many countless hours in the kitchen with Nanny. She taught me how to peel potatoes! She was so smooth she didn’t even need to use a peeler… straight up pearling knife! Love her - and definitely gonna miss that woman! If anyone has PICTS of her cause back in the day she didn’t do that much
