Johnnie Ray “Red” Jones, 55, of Groves, Texas passed away February 18, 2016 at his residence. Johnnie was born April 1, 1960 in Thompson, GA, to the late Harold Lee Jones and Mary Aycox Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya Jones of Groves; daughters, Amy Hannah of GA, Jessica Rae Vanquez of PA, Jaimie Rose Kirkpatrick of Trinity, TX, Jackie Rita Jones of Somerville, TX; Amber Giles of Nederland, TX; son, Robert Stelly Jr. of Nederland, TX; 6 grandchildren; step-mother, Virginia Jones of GA; sister, Laura Lee Wartella of Brazoria, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward the funeral expenses.
