Aunt Kathy, Lucinda, Claire, Linda, and the rest of the Dalby family, our hearts go out to each of you. What a terrible loss. This world was a much happier place with Uncle Johnny in it. No one ever made me laugh as much, except maybe my Dad, and he's up there with him now. So I think from now on when I hear thunder, I'll think it's those two making everybody laugh. Godspeed Uncle Johnny.

Kathleen/Sabrina/Story - what a loss; and yet what a gain to have known Johnny for four decades. what a great influence on our lives. What a man. I will always think of him every time I walk by your cabin at Crystal. I hope they leave the "Johnny Cam" on the column next door ... just tilt it upwards now please. We love you all.

Dear Kathleen, How sad I am to think that when I "winter" at home in Port Neches and when I go to the beach house in Tidelands sweet and funny Johnny will not be there. I do take comfort in knowing that he is sharing his "stories" up in Heaven. Wish I could be in PN to put my arms around you, but since I'm not I'm sending my love and condolences to you, Sabrina, Story, Melana and the rest of the family.

Met Johnny in the 80's while dating Melana. Had a great time at the beach house and in the concession trailer and my share of the world famous lemonade and elephant ears! Prayers to your family during this difficult time and remember he lives on through you now.

What a loss to Southeast Texas and the children that he worked tirelessly raising money for. Johnny was a staple to both the Shriners and the Garth House where he gave his time in a joyful manner. I know he is in a better place shining down on all of us.
