Johnny Vernon Walker

Johnny Vernon Walker, 86 of Nederland, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at his residence in Nederland. Johnny was born December 31, 1928 in Louisiana to the late Harold and Irene Walker. Johnny was retired as a Telephone Technician, and served his country in the U.S. Army and the Navy during the Korean War.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dolores Jean Walker, brothers, Gerald W. Walker, and Bobby Walker. Also his Grandson John Huebel. He is survived by his daughters, Margie Huebel and her husband Victor of Nederland, and Jeanie Gebauer of Port Neches; sons, Charles Walker of Port Neches, and Harold Walker and his wife Tammy of Nederland; his grandchildren, Jared Walker and his wife Jessica, Justin Walker, Victoria Huebel, and Charlene Gebauer; great grandchildren, Brylee Walker, Andrew Huebel, Jacks Walker, and Cruz Walker.
A celebration of life will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday December 2, 2015 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
