Jonathan Jack Moon

Jonathan Dennis "Jack" Moon, 94, of Port Arthur, Texas died Saturday June 25, 2011 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, Texas. Jack was born March 31, 1917 in Graham, North Carolina to Jonathan Dennis Moon, Sr. and Caroline Page Moon. He was a resident of Port Arthur for 65 years and a retired Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service with 32 years of service. He was a veteran of the Army Air Force in WWII and a Life Member of the V.F.W. Post # 797. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday June 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Jack is survived by his wife Leana Moon of Port Arthur, Texas; two sons; Dennis Moon and wife Erika of Groves, Texas and Ronnie Moon and wife RoxAnne of Nederland, Texas; three step daughters; Barbara Waters and husband Bryan of Jasper, Texas Kim Brandow of Port Arthur, Texas and Donna Loupe and husband Joe of Nederland, Texas; one step son Terry Reaux of Port Arthur, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
