I am so saddened by this huge loss. Jonathan was such a great man. I have such fond memories of him in high school, and I feel honored to have gotten to know him into adulthood. His presence will be dearly missed....we were so looking forward to him drafting Manny on his team this spring. I know he will be there in spirit watching all of those little boys he has raised over the years at that ballpark! Ruthie, your family is so special to me. I love you lots and my heart hurts for you and your sons...and for the many people Jonathan has touched in his life.

I am so sorry hearing about Jonathans death. I was a neighbor of the Wolfes Family my entire life. Having four boys, their house seemed to be the center where all the backyard neighborhood baseball or basketball games would be played. Since they had the only concrete driveway in the neighborhood with a basketball rim attached to the front of their garage, their home was always a beehive of activity. And to have a garage having both a front and back opening doors was always amazing. I remember watching their daddy pulling them on skis in the large ditch after a heavy rain or listening to their stories after they returned from a trip to their camp at Dam B. Many memories. To my surprise, I later had to spend many hours with Jonathan when he began work in the accounting department at USI/ Quantum discussing the maintenance costs within my department and of course chatting about old times. God bless the entire Wolfe Family in this time of sorrow.

Life is a gift; every day is a gift that we should live to the fullest; we never know when our number will be called. Just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your boys, Sincerely, Dr. Cynthia Barnes Your former professor

Please accept our condolences during your time of grief. I respected Jonathan as a stand up guy who supported the LIT Regional Fire Academy. He could be so funny with certain facial expressions and quips, yet be serious about fiscal matters. I had the pleasure of knowing Jonathan for 14 years and will miss him until we meet again.

Ruthie, boys and family. I am so very, very sorry for your loss. Jonathan was one of the best men I've had the privilege of knowing. He taught us how to communicate with short series of grunts and grumbles, we always knew he cared about each of us and would always stand for us. He made us laugh, gave us something to joke about and treated us better than any boss I've ever had! He will be so greatly missed and our hallway will never be the same. We will miss him more than we can even imagine. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Ruthie and other family members: I was deeply saddened to learn of Jonathan's passing. He was an individual for whom I had great respect because of the many valued qualities he possessed. Without exception, he was the same person each and every day you crossed paths, and you could always count on him doing exactly what he promised. Even more importantly, he was individual of impeccable character. He will be missed. May the pleasant memories provide you comfort through these difficult times. Sincerely, Ken Craycraft

Words cant begin to tell you what I am feeling. The finality of it hits home when I come to this site and see your pic and obituary. I love you my sweetheart and want you to know that i plan on making you proud as our family moves forward. Your boys have shown me they are strong men who have learned from your example. They are holding me up through this. The overwhelming love and support we are receiving goes to show what a loved and respected man you are. I have been so lucky you "waited" on me to grow up so we could be together 34 years ago. You are my love, my strength, and my heart ALWAYS. Walk with Jesus now and kiss your dad and Brett for me. I know you are holding my hand now and watching out for all those you touched--Jonathan, PaPa, Daddy, Uncle Jon, Coach Jon, Father Jon. Your RuRu

We were and are so terribly saddened to hear of Jonathan's passing. I never think of our family's days at GNLL without thinking of some people that were there with us from the start...both Jonathan and you, Ruthie are the main ones. BBQs at the KC, game after game, the memories go on and on. I know there us nothing to say that can ease the pain in your heart right now, so just know that we are thinking of you all right now and our thoughts lead us to pray for you. We will never forget Jonathan or the way he seemed to always be doing for others and always with a smile, what an example to us all. Rest in peace Jonathan and thanks for the memories.
