Jorge Rene Ramirez, 65, de Nederland, Texas falleció el jueves, 1 de abril del 2021 en Port Arthur, Texas. Jorge nació el 1 de julio de 1955 en Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala a sus difuntos padres Julio de Jesus Ramirez y Agustina Cortez. Jorge tenía un amor al servicio a Jehová y servir a su prójimo. Atrajo muchos a el a través de su gran personalidad y su sonrisa contagiosa. Jorge tenía una pasión por los trabajos mecánicos con aparatos electrodomésticos, le encantaba dibujar, bailar y cantar karaoke. Jorge y su amada esposa Tere se amaban intensamente y se apoyaban el uno al otro y dedicaron su vida a al servicio a Jehová y su familia que era lo más importante para el.

Jorge está precedido por muerte por sus padres Julio de Jesús Ramirez y Agustina Cortez, y su hermano Herbert Ramírez.

Jorge ha dejado atrás para honrar su memoria a su esposa Tere Ramirez, sus hijos Gladis J. Ramirez y su pareja Miccosukee Sagrero; Jonathan Ramirez y su esposa Melissa; Adrianna Dominguez y su esposo Ishmael; y Susan R. Ramirez y su esposo Ryan. Sus nietos Bryan Medina; Dominic Medina; Shia M. Sagrero; Josiah M. Sagrero; Christian Ramirez; and Liam Ramirez; y su mascota la Señorita Kristy, como él le decía. Jorge también es sobrevivido por sus hermanos Rolando y sus esposa Amber; Felix y su esposa Magdalena; Erick y su esposa Rosana; Edgar y su esposa Marina; Ricardo y su esposa Anne; y sus hermanas Julie Iwasco y su esposo Charles; y Veronica Fry y su esposo David. Además de muchos sobrinos, primos, otros familiares y amigos.

Debido a la pandemia la familia ha decidido extender una invitación personal solamente a la familia inmediata de Jorge para el miércoles, 7 de abril, 2021 desde las 12:00 PM hasta las 2:00 PM en Melancon’s Funeral Home en Nederland. Jorge Rene Ramirez, 65, of Nederland, Texas passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Port Arthur, Texas. Jorge was born July 1, 1955 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to the late Julio Ramirez and Augustina Cortez. Jorge had a love for serving Jehovah and ministering to others. He drew many people to him through his amazing personality and contagious smile. Jorge had a passion for mechanical work, drawing, dancing and singing karaoke. His spiritual priorities and family came first.

Jorge is preceded in death by his parents, Julio De Jesus Ramirez and Augustina Cortez, and brother, Herbert Ramirez.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 40 years, Tere Renteria Ramirez; children, Gladis J. Ramirez and her partner, Miccosukee Sagrero, Jonathan Ramirez and his wife, Melissa; Adrianna Dominguez and her husband, Ishmael and Susan R. Ramirez and her husband, Ryan; grandchildren, Bryan Medina, Dominic Medina, Shia Sagrero, Josiah Sagrero, Christian Ramirez and Liam Ramirez; and fur baby, Kristy. Mr. Ramirez is also survived by his brothers, Rolando Ramirez and his wife, Amber; Felix Ramirez and his wife, Magdalena; Erick Ramirez and his wife, Rosana; Edgar Ramirez and his wife, Marina; and Ricardo Ramirez and his wife, Anne; sisters, Julieta Iwasko and her husband, Charles; and Veronica Fry and her husband, David; and a host of, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Due to the pandemic, the family has decided to extend a personal invitation only to Jorge’s immediate family for a viewing and service from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. The service will begin at 2:00 PM and will be livestreamed via Zoom for those that would like to join the family.
