Jose Guadalupe Avila

Jose Guadalupe Avila, 58 of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Christus St. Mary Hospital. Jose was born October 12, 1954 in Tacambaro, Michoacan Mexico to Jose Angel Avila and Josefina Aguilar Avila. He was a resident of Port Arthur for 34 years. Survivors include two sons, Jesus Avila of Dallas and Manuel Avila of Philadelphia; three sisters, Rufina Mondragon and husband Emiliano of Port Arthur, Maria S. Avila and Mela Avila both of Mexico City; two brothers, Ruben Avila and wife Teresa and Epifanio Avila all of Mexico City; and three grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday and Saturday, August 30th and August 31st from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
