Jose Gabino Gonzalez, Sr., 78, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021. Jose was born in Reynoso, Mexico on June 22, 1943

Those left behind to cherish Jose’s memory are his sons, Jose Gabino Gonzalez, Jr. of Port Arthur, and David Lee Gonzalez and his wife April of Groves; his grandchildren, Alexis Gonzalez, Alisha Gonzalez, Dylen Gonzalez, and Daylen Gonzalez; his brother, David Gonzalez of McAllen; and his sister, Emilia Gonzalez-Gwynn and her husband Patrick of Dallas. Jose is preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas.
