He was born September 1, 1944 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Jose Saucedo and Gregoria Herevia Hernandez. He was a retired truck driver for Coastal Transportation.He is survived by his loving wife Christine Winter Hernandez of Nederland adoring mother Gregoria Hernandez of Georgetown his loving children Dr. Tamara Olt and husband, Blake of Dunlap, IL, Wendy Palermo and husband, Joseph of Groves, Joseph Hernandez and Anthony Hernandez, both of Nederland devoted sister Becky Jensen of Austin six precious grandchildren, Ronnie, Jeremy, and Michael Mohica, Zachary and Joshua Olt, and Jose quotLil Tonyquot Hernandez and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Hernandez.A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, June 6th from 9:00 a.m. until service time.A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland, Father Stephen McCrate officiating.
