Joseph Adley Desormeaux, 82, of LaBelle, Texas died Monday, July 27, 2015 at his residence. Joseph was born October 9, 1932 in Avery Island, Louisiana to Nelson and Lelia Landry Desormeaux. He was a resident of this area since 1956 and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church Port Neches. Joseph was a retired Union Carpenter and a US Air Force Veteran. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Reverend Shane Baxter officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Joseph is survived by his wife, Betty Desormeaux of LaBelle, Texas; daughters, Debbie Richards and husband Bobby of Sour Lake, Texas; Diana Harvill and husband Willie of Fannett, Texas; son, Darrell Desormeaux and wife Michelle of LaBelle, Texas; sisters, Lou Delcambre of Port Acres, Texas; Jeanna Norris of Nederland, Texas; brother, Jay Desormeaux and wife Judy of Cleveland, Texas; grandchildren, Mitzi Arney and husband Garrett, Clint Richards and wife Jami, Caleb Desormeaux, Will Harvill, and Jason Harvill; great grandchildren, Cohen Arney, Landon Arney, David Richards, Natali Richards, Jace Harvill, and Jasmine Harvill.
