Those of us who were fortunate to know and work with Joe have been incredibly blessed. It’s rare these days where you meet someone that can have such a lifelong impact like Joe had on so many people. He was a legend in the fire service, and you only had to meet him one time to understand. On more than a few occasions while working overseas, I was asked if I knew Joe Willey. Incredible! I have many fond memories with Joe & Irene, from our travels together with the demo trailer, sales & customer meetings, and of course the famous shrimp boils. Joe was quick with a smile and his one-liners kept everyone laughing. My deepest condolences to Irene and family. A legend lost. Rest in peace my friend.

I came to know Joe and Irene early on in my career which started in 1983, I truly enjoyed every visit and every call we made together as each time was a learning experience for me. Customers always said after our calls together that Joe was one of the few representatives that they trusted and believed what he said to them was always for their benefit. I personally came to love both he and Irene as family and we stayed in touch even after I retired in 2019. I am one who will truly miss my dear friend Joe as I know all of you reading this will as well. He was a man of great faith and I know that I will see him again when I cross over from this life to eternity.

Joe Willey was one of the best Vendor reps our company ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He was truly like a family member and was loved by so many. My favorite memories of Joe were when we met with customers in the field. He and his demo trailer were always a hit and usually ended in a sale of some sort of another. Eating lunch with Joe and Irene was also always a pleasure and greatly appreciated. We will miss you Joe!

Joe was such an outstanding Christian man and will be missed by many. I always loved when he and Irene stopped by Dooley Tackaberry. He had some great stories about Chris and Rhew and always brought a box of cookies to the crew here with a few extra for me to take home to the three Dooley boys. May God comfort the family during this time. Our sincerest condolences. Liz Dooley.
