Joseph Marshall Luquette

Joseph Marshall Luquette, 86, of Groves, Texas passed away on January 7, 2015 at his residence. He was born on March 20, 1928 in Port Neches to the late Farness and Mary Etta Vallow Luquette. He retired from Texaco as an Ethelene Operator and served honorably in the U.S. Navy.

Joseph is survived by his three daughters, Pamela Sasser and husband, Robert of Lumberton, Texas, Lori Corbello of Nederland, Texas, and Linda Pray and husband, Keith of Brandywine, Maryland; sister, Mary Lou Dugas; three half sisters, Link Luquette, Katherine Andrepont, and Patsy Luquette; one half brother, Andrew Ramirez; three grandsons, Thomas Pray, Christopher Pray, and Kyle Corbello. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Landry Luquette, his parents, and a son-in-law, Frank Dattalo.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. with Father Jason Jacob officiating at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
