Sorry to hear of her passing, I enjoyed our visits while living on Boyd Avenue and her desire to help us keep the hospital out of our neighborhood. May she rest in peace.

Rest easy and enjoy your Heavenly reward Mrs. Bourgeois. Not only did you raise your own children; but the rest of us neighborhood kids as well. You were our mother too and treated us all as your own. Parties, lunches, dinner, etc....were always a welcomed treat to us because we felt welcomed and loved and your cooking was amazing! Tell Mom, the Carrieres, the Roberts and everyone else hello and y'all have yourselves a good ol' Boyd Ave. reunion. ❤

Aunt Louise was always so full of spunk and humor. Last time Momma and I visited I remember the wall of crosses in her home, many of them lovely works of art. She was an amazing woman, my Godmother, and she has left a large and loving family as her legacy. She will watch them all from her new Home now. God bless you and your family, Aunt Louise.
