Joshua D. “Brickdog” Brickey, age 32, of Port Neches, Texas passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 at his residence. He was born on August 6, 1982 in Beaumont to Ray Brickey, Sr. and Stacy Bourque. Joshua worked in construction for the Signature Group, and also served our country honorably in the United States Army.

Joshua is survived by his mother, Stacy Bourque of Port Neches; step-father, Michael Dominguez of Port Neches; son, Daison Lee Trigo of Beeville, TX; sister, Jaemie Dominguez of Port Neches; brother, Ray Lee Brickey, Jr. of Port Neches; grandfather, Dale Bourque of Port Neches; his adorable nieces, Bryleigh Dominguez of Port Neches and Baylen Papania of Port Neches; and his girlfriend, Missy Redden. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many close friends. Joshua will be reunited in heaven with his father, Ray Brickey, Sr.; sister, Summer Bourque; cousins, Chad and Krystal; and Nannie Darby and Aunt Angie.

Funeral Services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Chad Lawson officiating. A gathering of Joshua’s family and friends will be held on Thursday evening, July 2nd from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Joshua will be forever in our hearts, and we will miss him dearly.

I'm am very sorry to hear about Joshua. I truly loved Joshua he was a great friend and always knew how to make u smile even when you were having the worst day. We will truly miss him. I can't imagine the hurt you and ur family are feeling and I know I can't say much to make it better but I know that man had more love for you all than I can image. One of the funniest people I've ever met! The smallest of things would be an adventure just by simply being in his company.
