Joshua “Jimmy Jack” Sewell, 16, of Groves, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, in Vidor, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
Memorial Services will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas. Officiating will be Pastor Jesse Lofton.
“Jimmy Jack” was born on February 1, 2007, in Galveston, Texas, to Joshua Sewell and Angelica Patxot. He had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found playing basketball or football. Additionally, he possessed a special talent for dance choreography.
He is preceded in death by his second mom, Jill Baillie, and his grandmother.
He is survived by his grandmother: Barbara Patxot who raised him of Groves, TX; mother, Angelica Patxot and boyfriend Kevin of Port Arthur, TX; father, Joshua Sewell of Port Arthur, TX; grandmother: Rose Sewell of Port Arthur, TX; grandfather: Adrian Patxot of Port Arthur, TX; three brothers Kevin and Kade LaDay and Adrian Joseph; and one stepbrother, Camaro Godwin of Vidor.
