Joyce C. Breaux, 99, of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017. Joyce was born November 4, 1917 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Carroll Mitchell and Lora Kimbrough Mitchell. Joyce was a resident of Groves for 66 years and longtime member of Immaculate Conception and St. James Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 63 years, Joe Breaux; sister, Modean Darsie; and brother-in-law, James Darsie. Survivors include her daughter, Molly Breaux and Brad Corley of Groves; son, Michael Breaux of Groves; grandchildren, James Breaux of Lakehills, and Ryan Breaux of Temple; great-grandchildren, Laurel Breaux and Clementine Breaux of Lakehills. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend J. C. Coon officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday, August 14, 2017 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
