It is so easy to see why Uncle Bill fell in love with her - my Aunt Joyce was a beautiful lady, inside and out. When I was young, I remember visiting Marla during the summers and one of my best memories is that she would always ask if we had brushed our teeth and she would then kiss all of us goodnight. Just a small thing, but it made me feel so loved. She probably wanted to make sure we brushed after eating all those yummy sweets she was famous for! In later years, I remember calling one night to wish Uncle Bill happy birthday and afterwards Aunt Joyce and I talked for over an hour, just sharing stories and catching up. I will always cherish that. Elisa DuBose Looney - niece

In my tribute to Joyce, I credited her with sewing for me. In fact,Aunt Maude sewed. Your mother baked.

Joyce was the loveliest cousin a girl could have. I always treasured the clothes she made for me as well as the beautifully smocked baby dress for Shelley. Shelley saved he dress, and both of her baby girls had pictures made in it. Visiting with her and Billy was a pleasure. From those visits Billy gave Vic his domino templet that Vic has used to make many sets of dominoes. Such good memories of such good people. Our thoughts are with you.

When Jim and I moved to Texas for a job, Joyce was the first person to come with a large dish of goodies to welcome us. She and grannie were my best friends along with all at Calvary Baptst church. Joyce and Billy were always there to help even though we've been gone for many years my ties with the family has remained strong. Randy means the world to me and his family. Amy and the rest of the family are in my thoughts and prayers. Praise God! She is free at last! Celebrating her eternal life with our Lord and Savior JESUS. Our love and prayer are there in spirit. I am honored I got to visit this precious soul prior to her falling ill. She really enjoyed the visit showing us her room and many things she made in the past. She liked her sweets so I had brought her some homemade cinnamon rolls that I understand she really like she is in Jesus' hands and is being well taken care of. Thank you Lord for our Salvation
