Joyce Lee Johnson

Joyce Lee Johnson 84, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Sunday October 27, 2013 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. Joyce was born September 12, 1929 in Turkey Creek, Louisiana to Simeon Mayo DeVille and Nettie Young DeVille. She was a homemaker and member of the Gulf Street Church of Christ. Joyce was a resident of Port Arthur for over 60 years. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Joseph Lee with the Gulf Avenue Church of Christ officiating at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Joyce is survived by her three daughters Melanie Clarice Johnson of Port Arthur, Brenda Mathes and husband Claude of Huntsville, Texas and Jodie Johnson and Linda of Richmond, Texas; two grandchildren Brad Mathes and wife Carla of Katy, Texas and Sara Johnson of Groves, Texas and two great grandchildren Daisy Rivera and Christian Rivera.
