Joyce Annette Kelly, 78, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away peacefully on July 3, 2021. She was born in Gadsden, Alabama on October 12, 1942 to the late Ambrose Ford Morgan and Evie Ray Morgan. Joyce was a member of Latter Rain Ministry. She retired from Winn-Dixie where she worked many years in various locations. She was very faithful to her employer and a mother figure to other employees.

Those left to cherish Joyce’s memory are her brother, Ray Morgan and his wife, Sunny of Port Arthur; her sister, Betty Harris of Zavalla; a special niece, Barbara Staton of Port Arthur; and numerous Nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sons, Darrell and Sam Westmoreland.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Ray Morgan officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
