Joyce Marie Hopson, 67, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away October 12, 2011 at her home. She was born December 2, 1943 in Pinegrove, Louisiana to the late Edward David and Beulah Shadrach McLin. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant.Funeral services will be held at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Dr. Jason Burden officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, October 14th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.Joyce is preceded in death by her parents husband, Robert Hopson and son, Darryn Perricone. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Elizabeth Bridges of Port Arthur and Mary Perricone of Houston 2 sons, Joseph Perricone of Nashville, Tennessee and Robert Perricone of Port Arthur 9 grandchildren 3 sisters, June, Donna, and Mary and brother Butch.
