My mother and Mrs. McCoy taught across the hall from each other at Stephen F Austin. For many years she was like an aunt to me. She would always quiz me on spelling words. I really enjoyed talking with her, because she treated kids as if they were adults. May she rest in peace, and may her family find comfort in this time.
