Juanita Marie Standley, 95, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Port Arthur Community Home. Juanita was born July 6, 1922 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana to Donnadieu Breaux and Elada Stoute Breaux. She was an area resident for 75 years and member of Groves First Baptist Church. Juanita retired as a commercial underwriter for Joiner Insurance Agency after 22 years of service. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Standley. Survivors include her son, Tom Standley and wife Carolyn Ann of Franklin, TN; sister, Elsie Domingue of Lafayette, LA; brother, Melvin J. Breaux of Port Arthur, TX; two grandchildren, Lara Ann Gibson and Dena Carol Standley; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Dr. Joe Worley officiating. Burial will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be Friday evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
