Juddie Thomas Fox

1955 ∼ 2025

Juddie Thomas Fox (known to his trucking buddies as “Rawhide”) was born December 17, 1955, and passed away June 9, 2025, at the age of 69. He owned “FOTE,” Inc. Trucking Company, drove his own 18-wheel dump truck, and had integrity with a strong work ethic. He was a strong, independent man who sought his own way, but if he knew you had a problem or need, he would stop and help you. He loved and supported his family. He enjoyed playing the guitar. He never knew a stranger.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Ima Jean Fox; his brother, Clint Fox, and his wife, Pam, his sister, Stacy Rogers, and her husband, Keith; and his adoring niece Shannon Burnett, and her husband, Bryce and his loving nephew, Jared Rogers, along with his wife, Hannah. Additionally, he leaves behind as well as his exceptional great nephew, Beau Burnett, and his precious great niece, Bryley Burnett. Each family member will forever treasure their memories with Juddie, who brought joy and laughter into their lives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Thomas Fox.

He will be remembered fondly by those who were fortunate enough to share in his journey. The love and encouragement he imparted will remain a guiding light for each of them.

A visitation honoring Juddie will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service celebrating his life at 2:00 PM at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, located at 5601 39th St, Groves, Texas 77619. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland, Texas. Family and friends are invited to come together to share stories, offer their condolences, and support one another in this time of reflection and remembrance.

We will miss you, Juddie.

My family owned Go Sign and Graphix and Juddie was a long time customer of ours. He and my husband Joe could both talk for hours. They were a lot alike and were both good Christian men. I lost Joe last May, 2024 to cancer and Juddie called me shortly after. He was always a smiling face and very sweet man. There are few people you meet in life that you know your life is better to have known. Juddie was one of those people. Rest in peace, sweet soul.

Juddie was one of my first friends in the church nursery of Beacon Baptist Church in Port Arthur. I remember him as a nice and quiet young boy. It warms my soul to read he stayed close to God and family. To Ima Jean, Clint, Stacie and all of his family, I send my condolences. As the days of mourning pass and your lifetime journey of grief begins, may God's everlasting arms of love wrap around each one of you giving you strength, comfort, and peace, knowing with assurance Juddie is in the presence of our Father. What a wonderful reunion the family of God will have one day.

Heaven opened its arms to Juddie as he passed from this world! My broken heart sends love and prayers to Ima Jean and the rest of his family. Many Sunday nights after church we enjoyed them in our home around the piano. Juddie's dad, JT, would treat us all with his music! Juddie's was such a sweet person since childhood...love to all the family and may our Lord give you comfort.

Juddie was always so supportive of his family. He always tried to come to Beau and Bryleys events and made sure the Fox family all got together for holidays. He loved his family and friends. We will all remember his chuckle. See you on the other side “good buddy”.

Juddie was a great guy. Our mothers were friends for a very long time and besides going to school with each other we attended the same church. Jack and I ran into him last year and he had not changed and came over and gave me the biggest hug ❤️ Rest in Peace my friend
