Judy Moore 79, of Galveston Texas passed away August 11, 2015 at her residence. Judy was born September 21, 1935 in Port Arthur Texas to Nick Norris and Davette Sanders Norris. She was a Resident of Galveston for 2 Years and formerly of Groves for 48 years. Judy was a Housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church of Port Arthur. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Moore. A graveside service will be held on Thursday August 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches with Reverend Jim Hamilton of First Baptist Church Port Arthur officiating under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. Judy is survived by her three daughters Jill Peveto and husband Robert of Galveston TX., Gina Jeans and husband Glen of Bethel Park, PA., and Janet Alverson and husband Fred of Katy, TX.; one brother John Norris and wife Dewanna of Clear Lake, TX.; six grandchildren Tara Holtzclaw and husband Ty, Tyson Peveto and wife Halie, Nicholas Jeans, Mayon Jeans, Claire Mackay and husband Justin and Caitlin Alverson and one great grandchild Callum Mackay.

Judy and Patsy Ayers were my best friends in school. We had so much fun together. I Lost touch with Judy the last two years. She was a special person. My prayers are with you three Ladies.
