Judith Marie Moore, 50, of Nederland, Texas died Monday, August 8, 2011 in Port Arthur, Texas. Judith was born August 29, 1960 in Port Arthur, Texas to Sherman "Bit" Moore Sr. and Jo Moore. She was a lifelong Nederland resident and a Security Officer with S & S Investigations. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2011 at the funeral home. Surviving relatives include her brother, Sherman Moore Jr. and wife Shelia; nieces, Stephanie Moore and Kara Moore all of LaPorte, Texas and her beloved dog, Wolfgang.

i just found out today that judy had passed away, joel told me. i have know judy since she worked for martime. i never will forget her throaty voice and the dry humor. she was so funny! just a great gal! rest in peace, my friend. to judy's family, i am very sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for the sudden loss of your loved one. I didn't know Judy personally, although just a week or so ago I seen a comment from her on facebook to a mutual friend and thought that she was a Judy Moore that I graduated with. Her and I chatted for a bit and come to find out she graduated with my brother Roy. I am thankful that I took the time to just talk to her and friend her on facebook, not knowing it would be for just a short time on earth. I look forward to meeting her again one glorious day!! My prayers are with the family.

Judy, you will be missed by my family and I so much, you were like an aunt to me. You were such an honest, loyal person and would always crack us up.
