Judith Ann Thomas Nichols

Judith Ann Thomas Nichols, age 76, of Nederland passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Senior Rehabilitation in Port Arthur. She was born on January 26, 1939 in Hall Summit, Louisiana to the late Otis William Thomas and Lillian Kolb. Judith worked as an assistant Operator for Gulf and Chevron Refineries, and she also served our country honorably in the United States Air Force.

Judith is survived by her daughters, Donna Detherow and her husband, Michael Dean of Nederland, and Susan Boudreaux and her husband, Clay of Nederland; son, Ron Mark Nichols of Nederland; grandsons, Jacob Ryan Detherow of Nederland and Benjamin Boudreaux of Nederland; sister, Viola Thomas of Port Arthur; and brother, L.G. Thomas of Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, and numerous brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
