Judy Ann Davis, 76, of Port Neches, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. Judy was born on July 18, 1944 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Carlo Pastorella and Alice Irene Stalker Pastorella.
Judy Davis was a devoted and faithful member of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Port Neches. She taught 1st Grade at CCD for over 20 years, and consistently served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of RCIA, the church’s bereavement committee, the ACTS community, the Card Ministry and the Red Hat Ladies. Judy was employed for 21 years with the Port Neches-Groves Independent School District. Just as much as Judy was devoted to her faith and job, she was devoted to her family. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Judy took pride in taking care of her family, and she had a heart full of love for each and every one. Judy also enjoyed baking and camping.
Those left behind to cherish Judy’s memory are her daughter, Anita Conway and her husband Glenn; son, Buddy Davis and his wife, Debbie; daughter, Carla Craddock and her husband, Billy; daughter, Debbie Block and her husband, Vaughn; son, Eugene Davis and his girlfriend, Lee Maria Ryan; grandchildren, Jennifer Lancaster, Holli Quebe, Daniel Conway, Heather Ivy, Derek Davis, Madison Orta, Hayden Orta, Clifton Craddock, Gillian Craddock, Brittany Craddock, Ashleigh Craddock, Joshua Craddock, Khayman Davis, Kaj Davis; nineteen great-grandchildren; brother, Howard Pastorella; sister, Melinda Pastorella; sister, Helen Christine Serres; brother, Les Pastorella; brother, Bruce Pastorella; and sister-in-law, Brenda Pastorella. Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Clifton “Sonny” Davis, Sr., her parents, Carlo and Irene Pastorella, and brother, Robert Carlos Pastorella.
A gathering of family and friends will take place at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial for Judy will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Port Neches. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
