Julia Colleen Schmidt, 74, of Groves, Texas died Friday, February 5, 2016 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas. Julia was born March 14, 1941 in Port Arthur, Texas to Freddie Stevens Gaudin and Hilda Matte Gaudin. She was a lifelong resident of Groves and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Reverend Shane Baxter officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Julia was preceded in death by her parents and her two husbands, Raymond C. Ozio and Fred John "Big Mike" Schmidt. Surviving relatives include her daughters, Tammy Terrell and husband, Wade of LaBelle, Texas; Lisa Arceneaux and husband, Kenny of Bridge City, Texas; Balinda Schmidt and husband, Mike of Bridge City, Texas; sister, Barbara Glenn and husband, Country of Huffman, Texas; grandchildren, Nicole Kay, Joshua Terrell, Ashlynn Kegley, and Haley Schmidt; great-grandchildren, Morgan Kay, Matthew Kay, Julian Kegley, and Kara Terrell.
