Julie Leonard, 67, of Nederland, Texas passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022. Julie was born on June 24, 1954, in Pasadena, Texas to Raymond Lott and Wanda June Bunch Lott.

Julie retired from Lamar University after twenty years of service. She was an avid reader and enjoyed puzzles and word games. Julie was passionate about her family and had a love for the beach.

Julie was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Lott.

Those left behind to cherish Julie’s memory are her mother, Wanda Lott of Nederland, TX; daughter, Jennifer Wilson and her husband, John of Nederland, TX; grandsons, Griffin Guidry and Seth Wilson; sisters, Susan Gore and her husband, Rod; and Carolyn Franks and her husband, Robert; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Julie’s Life to begin at 5:00 p.m., at Melancon’s Funeral Home.
