K.W. Nelson

K.W. "Dick" Nelson, 88, of Port Neches, Texas formerly of Tuscaloosa, Alabama died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in Port Arthur, Texas. Dick was born February 8, 1923 in Shady Valley, Tennessee to William Nelson and Ora Garland Nelson. He was a 40 year resident of Tuscaloosa, Alabama before moving to Port Neches, Texas 4 years ago. He retired from B.F. Goodrich as an Electrician with 43 years of service and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ohio. He was also a US Army Veteran. Cremation was handled by Levingston Funeral Home Port Neches. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Turner McLean. Surviving relatives include his wife, Leona Nelson of Port Neches, Texas; daughter, Linda McLean of Port Neches, Texas; granddaughter, Tracie Kaufmann and husband, Urban; great-grandson, Christopher Kaufmann.
