In addition to his academic pursuits, Kaleb harbored dreams of serving his country in the Military after graduation and pursuing a trade in welding like his father. Kaleb is survived by his loving mother, Elaine Johnson Seymour of Port Arthur, Texas; his grandparents, Travis and Debby Seymour of Nederland, Texas; and his siblings: Sierra Seymour, Braeden Seymour, Sean Seymour Jr., Conner Seymour, Caiden Seymour, Austin Seabourne, and Liam Christopher. He is also survived by his niece, Claire Seabourne, as well as his uncles, David E. Johnson and Will Seymour (Melissa), aunts Amy Tunnell (Scott), Dana Seymour, and Heather Wallace (Kyle), and many cousins.

Kaleb was preceded in death by his father, Sean Michael Seymour Sr.; his grandparents, Gladys Johnson and Ed Johnson; and his uncle, Kevin Johnson. His memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial gathering will be held in honor of Kaleb on February 21, 2026, from 3:00 - 4:00 PM, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas with a Memorial service at 4:00 P.M. I met Kaleb during the first week of school, and we became friends almost immediately. He was one of the kindest and most genuine people I had ever met. He had a way of putting a smile on everyone’s face. He was always giving the most inspiring and motivational talks to me and my friends. He was someone I felt I could talk to about anything, knowing he would truly understand. I’m so grateful to have met you and to have been friends with someone like you. We all miss you more than you could ever know Kaleb.

kaleb was the most genuine person i’ve ever had the pleasure of being friends with. We met freshman year and have been best friends since. He always did what he could to make my day better. If i were sick from school he would leave school to bring me flowers and check on me, and always write the most beautiful love notes. He had a way of describing and talking about thing he enjoyed when he really go into conversation and i already miss talking to you so much. I’ll forever miss being parked before school, blasting zendaya on my speakers and us deciding on if to skip school or not.Kaleb has given me some of the best moment and memories of my life and i’ll forever cherish the ones i have. I’ll forever miss and love you kaleb.

I met Kaleb the beginning of our freshman year. Words couldn’t describe what an amazing person he was. He was one of the funniest people I’ve ever met and always knew a way to make you smile and laugh. I was blessed with the opportunity to get to know him and hang out with him when I did and him be part of my life. I will miss you greatly Kaleb and will always cherish the moments we had. You were such a great friend and helped me through some of the hardest times. I will always keep your memory alive and remember all the times we shared.

This photo was taken 50 days before Kaleb left us - Christmas Day - it was a grand day filled with many happy conversations - lots of hugs - and lots of I Love You - I had a such a good conversation with Kaleb that day - we talked about school and his friends - I told him he was such a handsome young man - he smiled - there was no hint given to us - that a sadness was deep inside - So I would like every one to know - When you think You Can't - Know that You Can - When days overwhelm you - You Can - When you feel alone - You Are Not - always there is someone to share a smile - a hug - a conversation - We are all born with a purpose - Share who you are with all who pass your way - Love to Travis - Debby - all - Aunt Susan
