Karen LeBlanc, a cherished member of the Port Arthur community and a devoted beautician for over fifteen years, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas. Born on November 9, 1944, in Port Arthur, Texas, Karen’s life was a testament to faith, family, and selfless devotion.

A graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Class of 1962, Karen carried with her the values instilled during her early years, living a life that was deeply rooted in her Christian faith. Known for her generous spirit and warm heart, she was a woman who consistently put the needs of others before her own. Her remarkable ability to be a great listener made her not only a trusted friend but also a pillar of strength for many.

Family was the cornerstone of Karen’s existence. She was blessed with a loving husband of fifty years, James LeBlanc, who stood by her side through every season of life. She was a proud and devoted mother to her sons, Bert Faulk, married to Kelley, and Clifford Faulk, married to Deidre. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren: Savannah Faulk, Sydney Cordell (married to Jed), Tyler Faulk (married to Mallory), and Caleb Faulk (fiancé, Meagen), whom she adored endlessly, often expressing that "grandkids were her world." This love extended to her great-grandchild, Colter Cordell, who was the light of her later years. Karen also cherished her siblings: brothers, Edward Dauphine and Larry Dauphine, married to Kathy, and sister Susan Fawvor, wife to Jeff. Her family circle was enriched by their presence and support through life’s journey.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Velma Dauphine, and her brother James Dauphine, whose memories she held close to her heart.

The community and family will gather at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches on May 26, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for visitation, offering a time for remembrance and tribute to Karen’s life and legacy.

I am truly saddened at hearing of Karen's passing. We were good friends in high school before I moved. May James and her family find peace knowing she is with the Lord she served. Love to all, Dru
