Karen and I worked together at Mid-Jefferson County hospital nights and weekends in the early 70's while we were in college. We would sneak a TV in our office so we could watch the Cowboys while we worked, she was a huge fan of Charlie Waters and we actually got to meet him at Park Place hospital during a dedication. Also attended Cowboys and Jets game in Houston and a Three Dog Night concert. Karen was a kind and sweet friend who loved her family. Prayers and sympathy to the family. May she rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus and perpetual light shine upon her. Phyllis Lee China, Texas

Karen and I were 1st cousins. We grew up like sisters, I have many good memories. Her Dad would take us to Leo and Willis every Saturday to have doughnuts, never missed a Saturday. When her Mother passed our our Grandparents raised her and her brother Drew. As she got older she loved having nieces and cousins at their house. Many times we got into trouble not bad trouble just fun stuff. Our grandmother told the younger ones to stay out of her makeup well that didn’t happen, lipstick and rouge all over their faces. Then they put powder over Pop while he was sleeping, boy did they get it. I remember so many good childhood memories with Karen. She will be missed, but she is have a grand reunion with family what a wonderful day it was ! Love you forever Karen. Janet Nations Porter :latin_cross:️
