Karrie Lynne Stefflen

1961 ∼ 2025

Karrie Lynne Stefflen, a cherished member of the Port Arthur community, was born on April 22, 1961, and was called to eternal rest on October 2, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas. Throughout her vibrant life, Karrie nurtured a passion for community, which was evident in her personable nature working in sales at Marble Crafters.

Karrie had a way of making people feel seen and cared for that extended beyond the workplace. She was an active member of Grace Nazarene Church, where she not only attended services over the phone when she was homebound but also volunteered in their food pantry and prayer line ministries. She was an example of God’s love and compassion to everyone, even her dogs.

Karrie accepted the ups and downs of life with grace and humility. She would listen to family and friends, encouraging them to do the same over a cup of coffee on the front porch.

She leaves behind a loving family who will deeply miss her presence. Karrie is survived by her brother, Michael Stefflen; her sister, Michelle Carter and husband, Adam; her aunt and uncle, Susie and Armond McBride; along with her niece, nephew, and many cousins and devoted friends.

Karrie was preceded in death by her parents, Karen Alexander and Larry Stefflen, and her brother Marty Parker. She spoke of seeing them again and is now having that joyful reunion.

A time for friends and family to gather in memory of Karrie will take place on October 7, 2025. Visitation will commence at 1:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, both held at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 2001 Nall Street, Port Neches, Texas 77651. A graveside service will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.

Karrie Lynne Stefflen's legacy of love, faith, and kindness will forever be cherished and remembered by the lives she touched.

In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Carol Stefflen Scholarship Fund in care of the First Baptist Church of Port Neches, 1900 Magnolia Ave, Port Neches, Texas 77651

Sweet Karrie, We met when my son and daughter were young, Joey palyed baseball and we would practice at George and Karries house. We had an instant connection, talking hours about God. Our lives went differnet paths in the last few years but we would talk every few months and catch up. Karrie always made me feel so special, she would remember little things that i would say or do, always making me feel loved and heard. I really loved her. Karrie and her mother attended bible study with me for years until her mother passed. We shared the ugly diabetes sickness and would ALWAYS talk about our new diet plan.... once we even made up a diet called the Amazing bagel diet and put it on facebook - $1.00 per copy ( we sold 1 copy) Once she decorated her refridgerator with macaroni noodles and spray painted it gold! I would come over to her apartment and help her clean it (not her favorite task) but we would sing and talk about God and get the job done. I truly loved her and she loved me, I know how much she loved Jesus and i know without a doubt she is in HIS presence, happy and healthy. I will miss her

In Loving Memory of Karrie Karrie was always uplifting to everyone, but especially to our close group of friends. My partner of 42 years has been sick for 41 of them, and Karrie never failed to ask first, “How’s Kim doing?”—then gently add, “And how are you doing?” Last week, I was on a call with Carmel, struggling to find a new job, when Karrie overheard and joined the call. Even though she wasn’t feeling well herself, she took the time to speak life into me. She reminded me that I have favor from our Heavenly Father and that everything happens in His perfect timing. “Keep your strong faith,” she said, “and He will bless you with the right opportunity.” That last conversation will forever stay with me. Even in her weakest moments, she reached out to lift others up. That was Karrie’s gift—strength, faith, and unconditional love. Now, Jesus is cradling her in His loving arms, free from pain and suffering. We know she’s a special angel now, watching over us from above. We will miss your love, your light, and your faithful words of encouragement, dear friend. You will remain in our hearts forever. I traveled earlier in the year and Karrie gave this Jesus card to Carmel to give to me to Puerto Rico. Rest peacefully, sweet angel. Heaven has new assignments for you. 🙏🏻✝️😇

She was such a sweet cousin. She went through so many things in life yet kept such a positive and thankful attitude. Her love for Jesus was evident. We will miss her. I look forward to seeing her again in Heaven one day.
