Katherine Reeves Katherine Reeves, 88, of Groves passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 at her home. She was born April 11, 1928 in Vernon, Florida to Lee and Alma Williams. Katherine had lived in this area since she was 2 years old and was a member of Magnolia Assembly of God Church in Port Neches. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Brent Williams and Reverend Kurt Michaelson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be prior to the service Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Katherine is survived by her husband of 70 years, Calvin Edelle Reeves; son Thomas Reeves and wife Fay, daughter Bonnie Jennings and husband Dale; grandchildren Chris Reeves and wife Amy, James Reeves and wife Robyn, and Rachel Tompkins; great grandchildren Cooper and Kinsley Reeves, Ashton and Kylee Reeves, and Lowell and Amelia Tompkins; brothers Frank Gramon Williams, Lee (Dell) Williams and wife Phyllis, and sister Dorothy Anderson. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Reeves.
