Kathleen Fawvor, 65, of Port Acres, Texas passed away April 30, 2019. She was born in Port Arthur on June 30, 1953 to Andrus Adams and Una Marie Vincent Adams.

Those left to cherish Kathleen’s memory are her husband, Curtis Fawvor of Port Acres; her son, Corey Fawvor and his wife, Shannon of Beaumont; her daughter, Delissa Fawvor of Port Acres; her mother, Una Adams of Port Acres; her sisters, Laura Soto and her husband, Tony of Pasadena and Theresia Soliz and her husband, Roy of Port Arthur; and her grandson, Cash D. Fawvor. She is preceded in death by her father, Andrus Adams.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland with a memorial service to be held at 5:00 p.m., Bro. John Morgan officiant.

Ms Kathy was one of the best friends I ever had. Always that beautiful smile and such a calm spirit.She faced her illness with hope and focused on what she had to do.I will miss her so much but know she is no longer suffering.I know she knows how much I loved her.I don't think there is a sweeter soul anywhere. Prayer to her sweet family I know you will miss her but always remember The heart will never forget. Love you all!

Kathy was my second cousin. Although I live in California and could not have as close a relationship with her as a I would have loved, I felt close to her in recent years when we connected on a Facebook. My heart, hugs and prayers go out to her family and especially to her mother Una. The video is beautiful. Thank you for giving us all a glimpse into her life. :heart::pray:
