Kathleen Ryan Meche, a devoted member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and beloved wife, mother, and friend, peacefully passed away on September 9, 2024, in Nederland, Texas. She was born on December 13, 1955, in Gary, Indiana, to the late Frank and Dorothy Ryan, whose love and guidance shaped her into the remarkable woman she became.

Throughout her life, Kathleen dedicated herself to her career as a secretary, where her keen organizational skills and warm personality endeared her to colleagues and friends alike. Her commitment to service extended beyond her professional life, deeply rooted in her faith and active participation in her church community.

Kathleen's greatest joy came from her loving family. She shared a fulfilling marriage of 46 years with her devoted husband, Keith Meche. Together, they created a nurturing home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Kathleen's legacy lives on through her two beloved sons, Bryan Meche of Austin and Aaron Meche of Nederland, who carry forward her spirit and values.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Dorothy Ryan, and her brother, Robert Ryan.
