She was born on December 13, 1955, in Gary, Indiana, to the late Frank and Dorothy Ryan, whose love and guidance shaped her into the remarkable woman she became.

Throughout her life, Kathleen dedicated herself to her career as a secretary, where her keen organizational skills and warm personality endeared her to colleagues and friends alike.
