Kathryn Jean Spittler, 85, of Nederland passed away September 5, 2011 at Regent Care Center of League City, Texas. She was born January 25, 1926 to the late Norman and Maud Hawkins Paddock in Lakewood, Ohio.Before her illness, Kathryn was very involved with her church, Trinity Presbyterian. She was always there to help people and everyone was always welcomed in her home. During Kathryn39s working career she was a nurse at Baptist hospital before going to MidJefferson Hospital as on O.B. nurse who loved delivering babies and ended her career at Nederland Medical Clinic with Dr. Reinstra. After her illness, she was lovingly cared for by her one true love Melvin The Great.Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents stepmother, Verna Paddock husband, Melvin Spittler brother, Roger Paddock and son, Kenneth Spittler. She is survived by daughters Sandra Flanagan and husband Ronald of Friendswood Janice SpittlerBaldwin and husband Leon of Lake Jackson son, David Spittler and wife Patricia of Nederland 4 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren and sister Helen Pomeroy Dewey of Chesterfield, Missouri.
