Keith J. Guidry, 63, of Vidor, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Christus-St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was born on November 25, 1950 in Port Arthur to the late Emery James Guidry and Willa Mae Arsement. He retired after 42 years of service from Valero as a process operator and served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves.
Keith is survived by his wife of 22 years, Melody Guidry of Vidor; daughter, Keitha Stinnett of Vidor; son, Jason Guidry and wife, Brandi of Vidor; step-daughter, Brandi Alvarez and husband, Frank of Mountain Home, ID; step-son, Brandon Hernandez of Orange; brothers, Mike Guidry of Austin and David Guidry of Stewart, FL; sister, Jackie Taylor of Nederland; grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, Hannah, Kaitlyn, Robert, Breanna, Gina, and Alex; and great-granddaughter, Savannah. He is also survived by many relatives and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. Keith will be loved by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Kevin Badeaux officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of the family and friends will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
